CSA Add-Ons

You can add weekly or bi-weekly eggs to your share at check-out, thanks to a partnership with Roots Charter High School! Located in West Valley, Roots is Utah's first farm-based high school. Their farm model teaches students through applied learning and solving real world problems. Through managing the provision of eggs to New Roots CSA members, students learn lessons in economics, quality control, commitment, and reliability. While Roots eggs are not certified organic, the birds move around the property in mobile “chicken tractors” and are fed high quality, high protein feed from a local source, in addition to weeds and garden scraps.

You may also have the opportunity to pay for additional add-ons throughout the season, such as pre-packaged foods from refugee and New American food entrepreneurs participating in the IRC's Spice Kitchen Incubator program. Stay tuned for such opportunities in the weekly CSA newsletter!

Workplace CSA Option

We deliver shares to local businesses when 20 or more employees sign up for the New Roots CSA. If you think your coworkers are interested in having a box of locally grown vegetables delivered to their office each week, sign up using the link below and select "workplace CSA" as your desired drop off location.

20 people must sign up and make their first payment before your location can be confirmed as a drop off site. If 20 people are not confirmed, your share will be delivered to your second choice drop off site.

If you would like help spreading the word, we have flyers, email examples and more. Email with any questions or assistance requests you have.
